Damien,
It was probably just a defect in the manufacturing of the pump. I had one
on a non-DC product that went bad after only a couple hundred miles. The
pumps (as well as most things these days) are mass produced and there will
be defect parts. They only randomly inspect piece parts anymore for a given
lot of parts. Some may be only slightly out of spec and take a little
longer to fail, but eventually do; like your fuel pump! :'B

I'm glad everthimg is looking up for you!!! Keep the faith.. even though a
lot of these trucks have problems, they are still a beautiful machine and
run better than any other DC product...IMHO

hello all,
well i only got one reply to my first post.
I guess maybe I pissed every body off
because i was complaining about my dak.
Allow me to apologize.
I know no matter what type of vehicle you
buy it is gonna have problems and from
what i have heard the daks are the most
reliable in its class.
The dak will be staying with me.
I got it back yesterday, and it is running alot better now wiyh the new
fuel pump.
Anybody have any ideas what would make a fuel pump go bad after only
35,000 miles???
The rattle sound in my exaust was due to
a two broken bolts on he manifolds,I don't
know how that happend but it is fixed now.
Does anybody know how much mopar would charge me to put the 318 in my
dak???
