GVWR is gross vehicle weirght rating - this is the absolute maximum weight
which the vehicle, cargo, passengers, fluids, etc. is rated for. The GVWR is
not the vehicle's weight when unloaded.

Example - my '92 CC weights right about 4100#, unloaded. The GVWR is
something like 5500#. This means that the truck is rated to carry a total of
1400# of cargo, passengers, etc. (the difference between the GVWR and the
actual weight of the truck)
