On my '93 it's 3 inch all the way back, cat included. They came like this
stock. With Doug Thorley's up front, and split flowmaster out back it makes
287 ft/lbs to the rear wheels, 350 ft/lbs calculated fly wheel. I'm not
sure if any factory changes would make it different for your '99 (such as
OBDII software, or cam specs) but I would say go for it.
