Shorties = lots of low end but high end suffers.
Long Tubes = a little low end loss but lots of mid - high end power.
I think that the Leach headers are a good header for our trucks as they balance
out the low/high end. Especially since there really is no high RPM therefore no
real need for true long tubes. Long tubes would be like putting 3" duals on -
overkill and total loss of low end.
Tom's dak may be a different story though.
