You mean they don't have the computers there on emergency generators? Don't
they know the stress they're causing when we can't get to the home page?

Seriously, I guess I can't expect the college to do something like that.
The last company I worked for had uninterruptible power supplies at every
desk and a hospital-quality diesel generator outside. They claimed it was
so we could continue to support the customers if the power went out. I
think it was so we didn't have an excuse to not work during the average of
one power outage per year.
