What are the advantages of the brass cap and rotor? What is all the hype??

Yes , I found that out today as well .

What I don't like is that the part of the rotir that contacts the center of
the cap is not brass , but tin .

I even checked the Standard piece and it was the same .

I guess you can't get one that is totally brass .
