Depends on who you talk to. Some will say its a Richmond gear. Mine
whines-rattles in direct drive (4th). New truck, take it back and have them
replace the gear. Its probably in the rearend and not the tranny. Mine has
been doing it since the day the installed the 4.10 which was about 3 years
ago or so.
