Let me straighten out what I miscommunicated in my original comment about
tint and guns.

The laws are there to put limits on tint so you don't have some idiot with
limo tint on their windshield driving around in a 3,500 pount piece of metal
at 65 miles hour, not being able to see worth shit and slamming into an
innocent carload of people and killing them all.

As far as the reference to weapons what I meant is is they can put a police
officer into a situation where he/she is not sure what they are going up
against. So don't blame them for not cutting you any slack. The laws are
there like someone said either a) deal with and obey them or b) pay the rice
for breaking them and if you don't like it work towards getting them
changed.

And as far as enofrcing/not enforcing certain laws police officers take an
oath to uphold the law. Not just uphold the laws they agree with.

And just to throw my $0.02 in, if you really don't think outlawing guns
would save lives look at the murder rate per capita in the USA versus
England. Outlawing guns would not stop all shooting but it would cut back
on them. Of course a speed limit of 15 miles an hour would also save lives
on the road, but that doesn't mean I'm for it, just stating facts.

And of course I also have to mention that yes, there are cops out there that
are pricks but most of them aren't. And if you obey the law you won't have
to deal with any of them except when they're on your side, so any bad
situation you get in you've probably put yourself in.

And I don't pretend any saint either I just take responsibility for my
actions. I've had my share of tickets before but I've deserved every one I
got and paid them all without a fight.
