Mike, the RT will pull a 6400# trailer (if you have a
class IV hitch) as long as you don't have a letter from DC.. he he...
The power is there, believe me. As far as a jetski trailer, not an
issue. The stock bumper is rated to 200#/2000# (tongue weight, trailer
weight)... even two 1200cc PWC @ 650# each, plus a 350# trailer is fine
for the stock bumper. As for lights, hit your local autoparts place,
and get the pop in wiring harness (plus in between factory left/right
light plugs). I've towed a bass tracker boat with my wife's RT and
stock bumper/2" ball... The setup weighed in about 1600#... I didn't
even know it was back there, except for the seat on the boat sticking
up in my rear view.
I still plan to tow my friend's jetboat with my wife's RT once I get
the hitch on it. When/if the final word is REALLY out, I'll modify the
truck to work with it (bags, axle shims, whatever).
