The three inch pipe would be your single exhaust tube. With a dual set of tubes
from the muffler back, the size should be around 2.5 inches dia. Too much
bigger on either tube will not have any positive effect. I run a single three
inch tube from headers to muffler and out again. Seems to work really good.
Some people prefer the duals. Due to the frame and fitment problems, I have yet
to see someone do a true set of duals on the new Daks. Also the O2 sensor would
not work properly and major computer and electronic work would have to be done.
