I think you mean 315/35ZR17. It is the same height but much wider (10.4" vs
7.0" thread width). The minimum recomended rim for the 315 tire is 10". It
would physically fit but the threads won't stay flat to the road.A better
option would be the 275/40ZR17, which is the PERFECT size for a 9" rim.
