What is the widest tire you can go on the stock R/T rim? The rim is 9"
wide.. which is one of the larger 17" rims out there... so I figure you can
go in the high 200's.
But.. I figured out that a 315/45/17 tire would have nearly the exact same
overall tire size as the factory 245/45/17's (~28"), and I want to maintain
that identical tire height because I do plan on staying with 245/45's up
front.
Would a 315 tire fit on a 9" rim?
