I had to order my 5sp V8 and it was well worth the 5week wait. The first
thing you mentioned was gas mpg. If you are concerned about it then buying a
truck with a V8/V6 is not the right avenue. Paying the extra buck in gas is
well worth the durabilty factor in the dakotas.
