I just wanted to clarify, you gained .2 seconds in the 1/4 with the
headers and launch technique, not 2. seconds.
A 2 second increase would be a huge gain, even for Nitrous or a
supercharger.
Not a big deal, I just figured that someone reading your post might get
the idea that Leach headers will net you 2 seconds in the 1/4, when it's
more like .2-.3 tenths of a second.
On a side note, I launch my R/T from idle. I have one foot on the brake
and one on the gas, but I don't "power brake" the rpm's up.
I have tried that method, it leads to even more tire spin off the line
resulting in slower 60' times which slow the overall time considerably.
At least that's how it works for me.
