Not installed yet - ordered it last Friday (6/11) direct from Tuff-Country
(800-288-2190), with a 10 day delivery. It was right about $1250 (don't
remember what shipping ran). They have always been rated very highly in the
Off Road mags, (Rancho has too), but you're right, 3" ain't gonna make room
for 33" tires on the stock 8" wheels - and I want 33s and I want to keep the
stock wheels (powder coat is good - polishing shiny aluminum wheels sucks).
If you want new wheels anyway, I did read a while back that the Rancho kit
and aftermarket 10" wheels with 2.25" backspacing should clear 33s - but
watch your bearings, that's putting them pretty far off center (isn't it?).
The T-C kit is way stronger than the stock components, and you can still
align to factory specs. Bigger bonus is you get a good lift without any mods
to the driveshafts and its all bolt on. 4Wheel & Off-Road had an article on
installing the kit on a Durango - it looked really tough with its butt up
off the ground, and the bigger meats really enhance the look of the rig.

that powder coat!!)
