Mine does that sometimes, it is on the verge of downshifting. My tranny is
hydraulic so there must be a vaccuum module somewhere that could be adjusted.
The "surge" as i call it just tells me to give it a little more gas, let it
downshift and gain a little more momentum. If it keeps doing it I disengauge
OD and welcome the power back!
