I know you asked about 99's, but I thought I'd relay my experience. When I
ordered my 98 V8 4X4,it took longer for me to decide on the options than it
did for it to come in. I ordered it, about a week later I got a build date,
then about a month after that I picked it up. It took about 5 1/2 to 6
weeks from start to finish. It was built in Warren, MI. By the way, my
dad bought a 99 Ram Quad Cab 4X4 V10 and it took about twice the time even
though it came from the same plant. At least there all not built in
Mexico!!
