Well,
Gotta put in my two-cents worth....All this talk about 3.90 vs 4.10.
I used to run 3.55's, then 3.90's, and now 4.10:1. I wouldn't go back to
the 3.92 even if I had to. Now keep in mind that I'm running a '97 Dakota
V6 (5spd with 32" tires) and not a V8. On the other hand, my co-worker (who
has a '98 5.2L Dakota Sport - Automatic), installed the 3.90's and didn't
like the performance. He also went up to 4.10's and has been VERY happy
ever since. As for the PowerTrax, it just looks and sounds (from the
description) like a beefed up Limited Slip and not a true Locker...Summit
Racing catalog description. (I could be wrong though...) If you want a
"Locker", get an ARB Locker.

Subject: DML: Pre mag Parts
Mike,
I still have the 3.91 rearend that was in my truck, but it is not a
suregrip. A friend of mine has a Powertrax unit in his dak and it works
real well. The parts listed in Mopar Performance will work on your truck
all premags are the same internially just some have carbs while some have
tb's. Where in the 18's are you running the first few times i ran my truck
i was in the 18.8's. I had to adjust the timing to get the speed out of
the thing.
