I have a '95 and I have mine set up to run around 48 to 5,000 RPM's at
shifting at WOT. Ours is set up a little different than the newer DAKs in
that when it's removed from the TB holder,you will see an arrow on what
would be the white clip of the new ones. Just press that arrow until it
releases the cable and adjust..Before adjusting,you might want to mark the
cable,because sometimes it'll catch you by surprise and you've yanked out
too much cable. I'e noticed on mine that I can get what feels like 1/16th
clicks on the cable and it doesn't take much adjusting to really get those
RPMs up to where they're needed. For firmer shifts move the cable clip
towards the front : see example below
