I have the MP 3" Cat Back and it was awful "boomy" too. Put two "universal"
sized PowerTone Muffler tips (connected to a "Y" piece) . They did a great
job of smoothing out the roar and no noticable changes in performance.
Sounds just like stock (EXCEPT A LITTLE DEEPER) up to 70 mph, then the
sound builds as expected above that.
