I had the MotorVac Carbon Clean system done to my Dak with 106,000 miles on
it. Cost me $70 and I the tech told me I had a small pinhole leak in one of
the braided stainless fuel hose clamp. He said these clamps were made so that
they cant be reused, and that he himself hated them. He also had a 93 Dakota
with 180,000 trouble free miles on his. So I just took the entire braided
hose off and put on a new piece of rubber fuel hose with plastic wire loom
over it(for protection) and double clamped each end, total cost here was
$4.50. I noticed that my Dak runs alot better after this a recommended it to
anyone with high mileage on their Dak, well worth the cash.
