Ontario DMLers to C@C?

An CONVOY Invitation to any DMLers from Ontario (or wherever) who are going
to C@C.

Jason and Norah Bleazard ('98 black CC 4x4) are leaving Scarborough, Ontario
around 3 a.m. Friday morning. I ('97 FR CC) am meeting up with them at
Burlington on the QEW at about 4 a.m. Yep, we are insane!

We'll be crossing the border at one of the bridges around 5 a.m. and, if
they let me
into the States, we'll be joining up with Jon Steiger ('96 black CC and
souped)
around Fredonia, NY on I-90 west. From I-90 west, we'll get onto I-79 at
Erie, PA.
Just before Pittsburgh, we'll get onto I-76 east to Carlisle. Mapquest
says 509 miles
(819 km) for a total of 9 hours, 17 minutes from Toronto. Lead Dakota
(Jon, are you
up to it?) will set the pace and inter-Dakota communication will be via CBs
or open window
with loud shouting or silent sign language or both. I'll bring up the rear
of the convoy
as I will be running with only a tach. but with MP cam and rockers.

If the convoy manages to get to Carlisle under this plan, we'll celebrate
with a few beers
(U.S. brand...ugh) and do a burnout through the gate.

Anyone interested in participating in this insanity, let me know and we'll
work out where and when you can join up. I'll need to know before 7 p.m.
on Thursday as I'll be watching the Hamilton Ti-Cats (1st game of the season)
on TSN at 8:30 p.m.

Eddie and Lisa ... are you sure that you want to go alone?

Obligatory DML content: YEP, WE ARE INSANE!
