Next Shock? How to get out the factory bushings?

Bushings may not be the right owrd, but on the top mount for the front shock,
I can't seem to get the rubber piece out, my new shocks come with a two piece
one, i think this is only a one piece one, any advice? PS still haven't
gotten drivers side shock loose yet, this sucks
