   On the '96s, its located below and to the left of the steering wheel. Here's

  You probably already have a cutout for them as well as a wiring harness.
The '96 apparently also came with driving lights (I don't know if it was
an either/or thing or what), but there's a location for the switch in the
panel (I think its right above the fog light switch). I was just in there
recently, and I noticed that there's a plug for the driving lights that
looks the same as the one that's connected to the fog lights switch. If you
take a look under the front of your truck, you may just find some plugs
for the fog lights hanging there; you might be able to utilize the stock
wiring harness if that's the case.

  (You can check out the inside of the panel by removing the 2 phillips
head screws just below the instrument panel, and 2 more underneath the
dash. That whole bottom section will just fall right out.)
