Re[2]: Bad News For A Cape DML Meet

Well I've lived in Mass for only 27 years and have gone down to the Cape almost
every summer since I could drive... I don't go during the high holidays and
have never had a problem finding a place to stay. Just lucky I guess. A group
thing is a totally different matter and that was my dumb. :(

According to the Park Ranger (Michele) that issued my permit, they don't sell
out 'till late in the season. The temporary permits (one week) is a new program
and she told me they weren't going to cap those.

As of 7/20 almost the entire route is open... Some areas are closed early-on
due to bird nesting areas/sanctuaries. Bathroom? Bathrooms??? We don't need
no stinking bathrooms! :-)

Anyway, it's still a kick and we're probably going down again this Sunday. I
gotta' get some surf casting stuff --it looks like fun!
Tom

Tom, I could have told you but like us all we find out the hard ways :)
I do not have a house/yard or I would consider hosting a meet :(
I've lived here 34 years and do not go that way in the summer to many
people,
(there is the sign I am getting old). Also I hear the overland permits
are pretty much sold out by then and arnt some areas closed? Where do
you go to use the bathroom? :)
