this is my first time writing on the list. so bear with me....
i have a 94 Dak sport V6/auto/rc, it has only 26,000 miles on it and im
having some problems with it; well to start i did some thing i wish i
haddent done, after i bought it i realized it only had the 16 gallon
fuel tank so i thought it wouldnt be all that hard to change to a bigger
tank(22 gallon)so i went to the yard and gota tank from a 92 dak and
installed it. well it worked for about a day and it started to give me
problems. it would not start some times after that.
well after screwing around with it for 2 days i said screw it; im going
to put the old one back on.buy the way i did have the timing chain
replaced because it was making alot of noise(25,000 miles)
after that it seamed to be alright but some times it would seamlike its
starving for fuel while driving but when i accerate it seams to be ok
for a while.
my questions are: did or could ave done somthine when i switched tanks
to the pressure for the emissions to cause this condition?
the truck always and still has an engine miss idle, the dealer says its
normal.(my 95 sport/v6)never had a miss.is it normal?
this is the list of things i replaced to try to fix the problem: new
plugs,new mopar wires,cap,rotor,air filter,pcv valve,have cleaned the
TBI ,replaced the IAC motor and still no help....HELP!!!!!!!
any advice will be helpful. thanks
