Those who mod TBs.....

First, a simple question, does the outside edge of the butterflies have to
sit flush/ against the bore ot the TB? Like does a 'seal' have to be there,
or can a gap exist?

Secondly, does anyone out there who works on modifying TBs(QuickD , R&D, B&F,
whomever) sell just any aftermarket parts for TBs? I am interested in a few
things, trying to do some simple and cheap mods to my throttle body. I would
first be interested in some type of tricked out butterflies/throttle plates.
These can be made of anything, I just need them to be thinner than the stock
plates and these also have to be the stock size; the fit into the stock bore
size.

Also, I am looking for a stainless steel(or any other material really)
butterfly shaft, as long as it is thinner than the stock shaft for increase
airflow. I like how some of you guys out there have a very slim design with
ther butterflies/shaft, along with the screws being almost sunk into the
butterflies/plates. I would even like some screws included, if possible.

Last, is some type of S-bolt, since I will only be doing a few minor homebrew
porting job(clean up the bores, not lower than the plates, and remove the
tall ridges on top of the TB, and try to create a 'slope' or 'taper' at the
top of the bores), I would like this s-bolt to top things off. Let me know, I
would appreciate it. Thanks for any info along with pricing. Maybe you guys
can start producing a stock upgraded butterfly/shaft/s-bolt kit where you
could just make em and send them out, no cores or anything else to deal
with!! Thanks agian.
