The 2.7, 3.3 and 3.5l engines are SOHC 4 valve designs, the 3.0l is a
SOHC Mitsubishi engine, they and the 3.8 have no relation to the 3.9
truck engine. The 289 was merely a bored and stroked 260, so many parts
were interchangeable.
