R/T wheels on non-R/T

Hello I'm new to the list and I need some help. I obtained a set of R/T 17"
wheels for my 1998 Dakota Sport 2WD (non-R/T) Does anyone know if they will
fit my truck before I go out and buy tires. Also, are they the correct
offset, or will they stick out and look funny? Could anyone recommend which
are the best tires to fit the wheels. I certainly would appreciate any
help. Thanks
