Ahem...Synthetic Oil was developed in Europe before the engineers at Amsoil
were potty trained. (Back in the late 30's it was developed and used widely
in the German military on most of their vehicles in the 40's-50's)

Amsoil is one of the first companies to market a fully synthetic
lubricant product line, from engine oil to diff/trans oil. The
advantage of one synthetic over another is pretty negligable; the
advantage of any 100% synthetic over non-synth is pretty dramatic.
