Gonna have to wait for the lawsuit regardless.....my rep told me they're
gonna work out another deal here soon for R/T owners....we'll see what they
offer!

Subject: DML: RT Buyback question

I've got a guy that I am trying to help out with info re: RT buyback.

Has anyone completed a buyback in the PA area?? This person was just
contacted by the area rep for PA, and they want to first make it look
like he races his RT (to void the warranty and to void any buybacks)--
he doesn't race it. He isn't sure if he has the correct towing package
code the rep mentioned, but the rep said if you don't have it that your
RT doesn't qualify-- sounds fishy to me.
Also, if it DID go through, they will charge him $.12 a mile usage.
Anyway to get around that?? Here in California, we didn't get charged
a penny-- even for 17000 miles.

He can't wait for the lawsuit stuff, he needs to tow with this truck
now, and because of the 'issue', he wants to get his $$$ back and go
buy something else.

Any help would be appreciated...

Sam '99 RT & 4x4
