Well awhile back I reported that K&N was going to make
a version of the GEN II FIPK for the 97'-up dakota's. I
just recently talked to K&N to follow up on progress of
the kit and I was told by a different person that the kit
was not going to be a GEN II style but a round open
air filter kit. Now I don't know what to believe.
I was going to wait for the V6 kit, but if it is only going
to be a round filter kit, I don't want it. I'm sure the V8
kit will fit with a little modifying.
Just wanted to correct the info. I previously posted
was bogus.
