Here's a post from the MML that I think those of you who have experienced
paint problems will like to see. I sure hope it helps; don't want any
ratty-a$$ looking Daks out there.

Hi
My 1993 Dodge Dakota stated to do the same thing. I did some checking
around and found out that Chrysler is repainting the affected parts at NO
COST to the buyer. Contact Chrysler to find out if your vehicle is
eligible!
I got my Dakota repainted. My boss got his Ram painted. My brother in law
got his Dakota painted. Several friends have also had their truck
repainted by Chrysler Corp.
One note however. My local dealer was NO help in this matter and denied
everything. Lied like a rug! I had to go to the factory Chrysler service
rep to get it authorized. You may have to call Chrysler directly.

Hope this helps
