Kyle, it almost sounds as if we're talking about the same location, by
"extension" I just meant the section of frame that you can see from looking
DIRECTLY behind the air dam...the furthest extension of the rail towards the
front...it seems a natural location to bolt hooks onto...mine are bolted
sideways facing outwards as well...but to make sure I will check location
tomorrow...I don't have any pics but can take some if you wish...
as far as strength, like I said I've had zero problems so far and I've done a
bit of tugging with them...maybe that sand pit (or whatever you were tugging
a toyota out of) was the straw that broke the camel's back for your hooks?
