Front tow hooks!!

Ok fellas, need some input here on front tow hooks for Generation II Daks. I
love the front tow hook kit for Gen. III Daks, as it is very sturdy and well
designed. Anyone out there have front tow hooks of any kind of their Gen.2
Dak???? I did once, about a two years ago, have front tow hooks on mine, here
is what I did(and what happened!!). I was driving my Dak without the factory
lower air dam just for increased clearance upfront, plus it would rip right
off if ever got hung up on anything. So with the front air dam/valence
removed, I had access to the front frame 'horn'/rail. On both frame
rails(passenger's and driver's sides), I drilled two holes on the outside
part of the boxed frame rails and mounted(one on each side) those "Jeep"
style two hole 10,000 pound capacity tow hooks. Well the hooks and the Grade
8 bolts were plenty strong, but when I used it to pull a Toyota out of a sand
pit, the hook rearranged/bent the front of the frame horn somewhat. So off
came the hooks and I put back on the front air dam.
Well now I have a Grill/Brush Guard which is bolted to the bumper using the
bumper holes and frame mounts, just decided to upgrade and use Grade 8
Hardware and not the factory bumper bolts. The Grill/Brush Guard also is
bolted into 2-1/4" thick plates(about 2"W x 6"L) and these plates run through
2 factory air dam holes and then are bolted into the lower frame/bumper
mount. So now I really do not want to take the front air dam off, but REALLY
want front tow hooks. I have racked my brain trying to think of the easiest
way to do this, but really have not thought of anything good. Come on guys,
lets think of a good method/mounting location for some hooks!!!! I do like
those, cough cough, longer hooks that full size Chevy/GMC trucks use, I just
need a strong locaiton to mount them!!
