Actually, it's not Apple's fault at all they cannot ship the
computers. Motorola cannot produce enough G4's because they are also
heavily involved in the embedded chip market and that's their bread
and butter. IBM also manufacturs the RISC chips needed, however they
are late getting on the ball because they are developing the SOI
Sillicon ON Insulation (I think) technology which will actually allow
chips to run at higher speeds without data corruption that normally
occurs.
