The topic of outrunning a copcar was in the alt.rec.motorcycles newsgroup
just the other day. The general consensus was, even on a crotch rocket, you
cannot outrun a cop's radio. You can, however, outsmart a cop, basically by
outrunning him to the next exit, getting off and getting lost in a large
parking lot (easy to do on a bike). This is not easy to do with a Solar
Yellow or Flame Red Dakota, so I wouldn't recommend it :)
p.s. - another advantage of the bike is splitting lanes in heavy traffic.
