Ted - No offense, but what have you been smoking this evening. Clearly, if
the rear end gears are changed, the speedo gear must change also. Changing
gear ratios and tire sizes are similar activites, and can be expressed as
mathematical effects. If you change the rear end gears, you will have to
change speedo gears in order to maintain accuracy. That is, unless you were
to change gear ratios and tire sizes at the same time, and the ratios and
tires were selected carefully enough that no net change took place. Take
another toke and think about that one for a while.

    Not trying to offend, just trying to have a little fun.
