Synthetic oil changeover

I have no experience with Amsoil. Many swear by it. Full synthetics are
so good, that I don't think it will make much of a difference which
brand you use.

For years, our family has used Mobil 1. I just discovered Royal
Purple. Full synthetic and has a metal conditioner called Synerlec.
They claim it hardens metal parts, further reducing wear, friction, and
damage at start up. This is important considering that 80% of engine
wear occurs at cold start ups where the engine spins without oil. My
personal recommendation is Royal Purple. Same price as Mobil 1, it is
found at Napa auto stores.

as for air filters, you'll get as many opinions on this as you will
about whether tits or ass is more important in your woman. I recommend
you surf the archives, PLENTY info there. I use a 2 1/4" K&N round
filter element.

enjoy
