GS,
Thanks for the info. I haven't opened the package yet to take a close look
at them. As far as the valve covers go, I couldn't resist picking up a set
of the aluminum "Mopar Magnum" covers when I ordered the rockers. (Didn't
feel like peaning in the baffles on the stock covers.)
I need to pick up a degreeing wheel, valve spring compressor, and a snap
gauge (or something equivelent) to check my valve seat clearances before
they get installed. I'm doing everything myself.
After installation and three complete orbits around the earth, I'll report
back on how the flight went. :'B
Thanks again for the information.

Rich, just some comments on the Mopar rockers. If your
installing them yourself. You have to double nut the stud
to torque 'em, I've seen other studs (Crane?) with have a
6 point or 6 sided hex built into them. This makes it alot
easier to tighten. I think Crane makes the Mopar rockers and
studs anyway. I don't know how Mopar ended up with completely
round studs with no hex to help tighten. I've installed the
Mopar rocker kit on mine and think they're great rockers. Once
they're on, the drivers side valve cover is a bitch to get on/off.
You have to crank the engine a few times to get No.1 cylinder
rocker (right front, near A/C bracket) to raise and give enough
Valve cover clearence before you can pull it off, put it on. I have
more details on rocker adjustments if needed.
