I was talking with a friend who lives in vegas and was caught under an
underpass during a flash flood in her BMW 318. The water didn't get very
high, but it reached the level of the engine block - which cracked when it
came into contact with the cold water. I understand thats an alum. block.
I want to do some light off roading with my new truck - fording small creaks
and such - is this a concern with alum. blocks or just her bad luck?
Thanks
