The 1.7s are the only way to go on a stock Cam. More lift & duration. More
power, slightly. You'd get more from a TB, IMO.

The 1.6 is the stock ratio. You probably would get a 5hp gain if you're lucky
from the reduced friction. A 1.6 swap should be for higher rpm cams..

We ran 1.7s on a 5.2 w/ the MP cam... and it worked great. Check PVC if
you're unsure....... always!
