Unless the repair was a total monkey F*****G a football i would just say it
was in a accident and since it was fixed obviously it wasnt considered a
total loss. Also present the bill and repair order this way the people can
see there wasnt any frame damage and all repairs used OEM parts. there are
plenty of cars that were in a accident and they get sold all the time. If the
guy gets funky and wants a huge discount walk away. price your car
competitively and wait for the right buyer. I did. when i sold my crew cab
i was gonna take 5 000. than i said i put 12000 in it last year. I held off
for a better offer and i sold it 4 days later for 8 000. It had a fire and
battery short and i told the guy , also had new motor and tranny installed
cause of the ire. Now granted the 88 chevy crew cab 4x4 with a 454 and dana
60 and 70 with np 205 were rare i still sold it for more than the first dude
wanted top drop to . I was discouraged but hang in there, The weekend after i
sold it i got 9 calls in 1 day . Good luck and keep at it.
I put my truck in orange county times , truck trader and recycler. these are
the local car ad papers. The thing you wanna do is flood the ads with your
truck. Look for a deal like run it till it sells for X amount of $
