well I just got interested enough to look this stuff up. The tundra can tow
7,200 lbs while that's nice the Ram 1500 will tow 7,950, but let's not
forget that a 3500 is a full size pick-up too and shouldn't be left out with
it's 13,400 lb. capacity. funny thing is that they used their biggest motor
to dodge's smallest V8, they ran it against a 318 instead of the 360(btw the
318 will tow 7,950 lbs. as well). Just to give you an idea of the numbers
behind this the Ram with the options I chose and the 360 motor came to
$22,730 and the toyota with the same options came to $24,950, I could
compare it to the 318 but I wanted to give the toyota every oppurtunity to
be competative but they (as usual) failed miserably. They must be using
their new math. BTW I believe when they compared the 0-60 times they left
out that the toyota was a lighter RC and the dodge was a CC. just thought
you might like to know that little tidbit as well. Just remember if we can't
outrun them we can always just tie them to the bumper and drag-em away.
