I could be wrong about this, and I probably am, but I think I saw someplace
a clear plastic film you could put on the front portion of your hood to
protect it from stone chips, bugs that sort of thing. Maybe you could place
a sheet of this plastic film under the part that the bra covers, to keep it
from rubing the paint? Please keep in mind that I have had no personal
experience with this film, so I don't know how it is applied, or sticks.
Just something I'm pretty sure I saw in an auto store somewhere. Probably
Canadian Tire (for those Canadians here...). Anyhooo my $.02
