When I went out Dak shopping last winter (Feb/March), I got pretty much
ignored at the first dealer I went to - I asked a few questions, he used
the fewest possible words to give me an answer. Didn't seem too
interested in making a sale. My next few trips out, I went with my
parents a couple times, and solo a couple times. I always haad a
salesperson wanting to talk to me (maybe not me?) when my parents were
with me. When I went alone, I got pretty much ignored. And it's not
like they were overly busy - when I went alone, it was midday, during
the week.
Oh yeah, I was 21 at the time (well, still am for 2 more weeks). The
dealer I ended up buying from, we told him *I* was the one buying the
truck, *for me*, and he pretty much ignored my parents after that. Even
talked me out of options because either I didn't need them or they were
a ripoff.
