Hey everyone. My name is Rob Robinson. I used to be on the list a couple of years ago, but couldn't keep up with the mail. But, I 'm trying it again. I have a 96 318 Dakota Shortbed Standard Cab Sport 3.55 2wd. Unfortunately I don't have sure-grip. This is my next modification. Now the crazy question. Someone told me that Chrysler changed the axle splines for 96 only and I would have to buy the suregrip special for that year (and it would cost about $100 more). Is this true? Anyone add suregrip to their 96? I'm hoping that someone is confused. Any comments? Thanks for the help.
