I've got almost 80,000 miles on the stock clutch in my '96 Club Cab,
and its had its share of passes down the 1/4. Mine *seems* like its
starting to slip, but I can't be sure. The only time I ever smell
anything from the clutch is when I'm trying to back my 3500lb enclosed
trailer into the driveway, and I'm riding the clutch. I sure wouldn't
mind hearing what's involved with a clutch change. I've heard good things
from some people about the centerforce clutch. I think that's what Eric
(now Mark) has in the '95 with the transplanted 360 motor.
