It does suck to have your new truck in the shop shortly
after buying it, but be thankful they know the reason
you're having problems. When I got my '98 (with the 5pd),
I had to take it in within two weeks to have my entire
tranny replaced (it was making an awful grinding noise) and
then two weeks later, I had to get another one (the 2nd one
bound up on me at a stop light)! But I finally got a good
one, because I haven't had a bit of trouble with the truck
since. Think Chysler might need to work on its quality
control? Hmm . . . .

Good luck and be patient ;)
