Oil In Water Update #2

Service Manager called me back! Said they (chrysler? whoever they is)
finished his question (about the muck in the filler tube) before he got a
chance to finish asking it. He said they've known about it for some time
and don't have a fix out for it yet. They also said that it won't cause a
problem. (I still don't like it!) I'm supposed to check back with him
from time to time until the fix comes out. He said all we can do is wait!
He said to just keep an eye on the oil when I change it and make sure
that the muck doesn't make it's way into the pan. I suggested to him the
possibility of a breather tube and he told me to go right ahead and fab
one and tell him how it worked! I asked him about warrantee and he said
don't worry about it. Hmmmmm. So, anyone out there have any ideas on how
to breath this thing?

>Ok, took my baby down yesterday after work. The service manager and
>senior mechanic both looked at my oil filler tube and scratched their
>heads on this one! There not sure what to do for a fix but he's gonna
>call the ol' engineers this morning and see what they tell him to do!
He's
>supposed to get back to me this afternoon. Do I see TSB coming?
>
>Nate.
